Read the search landscape. Then move through it.
Serpella Rank is a small, remote SEO consultancy. We uncover the technical problems holding a site back, rebuild its structure around how people actually search, target the queries worth winning, and turn that into a realistic plan for organic growth.
Search signal scanner
Six signals decide whether a page is found. We read all six.

Small studio.
Slow, deliberate work.
We are three weeks old and we are not pretending otherwise. What we offer is attention: a limited number of engagements at a time, handled directly by the person doing the analysis.

01
Listen first
A short call about the business, the customers, and what a good month actually looks like for you. SEO decisions come after that, not before.
-
02
Scan the site
A full crawl plus a manual pass: technical health, structure, content quality, and the queries you are and aren't showing up for.
-
03
Map the searches
Keyword clustering by intent, mapped page by page, with an honest note on which terms are realistic in the next few months.
-
04
Prioritise ruthlessly
One ordered list. High impact and low effort first, so you see movement while the slower structural work is still in progress.
-
05
Implement or hand over
We can make the changes, or write specs your developer and writers can follow without a translation layer.

Measure and adjust
Positions, impressions and clicks tracked over time, reported plainly — including the things that didn't work.
Four engagements. All of them recent, all of them small.
Client names withheld by request. Figures are what we measured, not what we hoped for.
Business profile and site were competing with each other for the same town queries. We consolidated service pages, fixed inconsistent NAP details, and rebuilt the location page hierarchy.
- Two duplicate service pages merged
- Map-pack impressions trending up in weeks 2–3
- Fixed 11 broken internal links
Faceted navigation was generating thousands of near-identical URLs. We defined canonical rules, trimmed the crawlable set, and reorganised collections around how people search for the products.
- Crawlable URLs reduced from ~9,400 to 640
- Category templates given unique titles
- Index coverage errors cleared
No site history to work from, so we started from search demand: intent clusters, a page map, and a URL structure the team could build against before launch.
- 11 intent clusters mapped to 18 planned pages
- URL and heading conventions documented
- First 6 articles briefed
A long archive with overlapping posts. We identified cannibalising pairs, consolidated the weaker ones, and rewrote intros and headings to match what the results page is actually rewarding.
- 23 posts consolidated into 9
- Recipe schema corrected sitewide
- Modest but steady impression growth
Four voices. That's genuinely all we have so far.
"I'd been told my site was 'fine' by two other people. Serpella Rank showed me the pages Google couldn't even reach, with screenshots. That alone was worth it."
"Clear, unhurried, and never oversold. They told me two of the keywords I wanted were unrealistic this year and explained why, then gave me twelve I could actually win."
"The audit came back as one ordered list instead of a 60-page PDF. My developer worked through it in an afternoon."
"It's early days and they're upfront about that. But the monthly report is honest — including the month where nothing much moved."
Twelve things we do, priced from the smallest honest scope.
All figures are starting prices. Final pricing depends on the size of the website, its complexity, and the scope we agree together — you get a fixed quote before any work begins, and we'll tell you if a smaller piece of work would serve you better.

Questions we get in the first call.
If something isn't answered here, ask. We'd rather have an awkward conversation early than a disappointed client in month four.
Usually 7 to 14 days from the moment we have access. Smaller sites are quicker; large e-commerce catalogues or sites with messy URL patterns take the full two weeks because the crawl needs interpreting, not just running.
Yes, and it's often the best time. With no history to untangle we can set the structure, URL conventions and keyword mapping before anything is built, which is far cheaper than correcting it later.
We do — visibility monitoring, monthly reporting and retained strategy hours. There's no long lock-in; we work month to month because a three-week-old studio shouldn't be asking anyone for a year of trust up front.
Often that's the arrangement we prefer. We can act as the analysis layer and hand your developers and writers specifications they can implement directly, then review the result.
No, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. Search results are controlled by Google, not by us. What we guarantee is a clear diagnosis, a prioritised plan, work that follows published guidelines, and honest measurement of what changes.
Your website URL, read access to Google Search Console and analytics if they exist, a note on the products or services that matter most, and any geographic markets you're targeting. If you don't have the analytics side set up, we'll help you set it up first.
Technical and on-page fixes can show movement in impressions within a few weeks. Genuine ranking change for competitive terms is typically a three-to-six month horizon, and we'd rather say so now than surprise you in month two.
Tell us the site. We'll tell you what we see.
